Goals/Mission Statement

The mission of the Clark County Historical Society's Heritage Center is to collect, preserve, and interpret resources which provide an understanding and appreciation of Clark County's heritage and to relate the community's past to the present and its future.

Instructional Objectives

To create and promote programs which authentically interpret the heritage of Clark County, meet curriculum
requirements of area schools, and encourage in students a respect for the past and an awareness of their place in
the future.

OHIO Standards-Benchmarks

Emphasis is placed upon meeting multiple academic content standards for Social Studies, grades K-12, while addressing
components of English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science.

In Service to the Nation - Honors the service of Clark Countians in American conflicts.
