Friday, November 9, 2007 at 10 a.m.& 12:30 p.m.
This incredible multi-media experience tells the story of American manufacturing through video and photos projected on multiple screens while accompanied by the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. In this dynamic presentation, live performance images will be mixed with recorded footage of the manufacturing process, the people that make it happen and the products that benefit everyone. Clark County manufacturing companies and their workers will be featured in this Explorations Series spectacular!
Music education has been demonstrated to improve children's test scores and math abilities, providing numerous skills and capabilities that will help children be more successful in school and in life. Music education can:
- Help children learn (remember learning your ABC's in a song?).
- Help children learn the value of practice and persistence (you only improve when you keep trying).
- Help children learn the power of cooperation and collaboration (although the soloist is wonderful, the orchestra together is amazing!)
